The Robins is a distortion pedal designed to evoke the feeling of listening to your favourite heavy 90s alt rock records. Inspired by one in particular (the name and colour are a hint).Ā The tone stack nods to the typical Fender style EQ featuring a wide range of tones.Ā Start around 12 o'clock on everything and make small adjustments to taste.Ā There's a sizzling top end that evokes that riff-laden era grunge bands, and almost demands that you tune to drop D, and riff out till your fingers bleed!Ā There's also an internal control for the top end to tame it back a bit for particularly bright rigs, but most won't need to touch that, just plug in, get your power chord fingers ready and RIFF!
